Interviewing Rupi Kaur

I wonder all the time what I would say if I had the chance to talk to someone I think is influential. Someone who is at the very top of my list is Rupi Kaur. If I had the chance to interview her I’d ask her about the evolution of her poetry. She’s a modern poet who to many has brought poetry back to life. The simplicity in her writing is what intrigues me the most. Saying so much, with so little. I’d ask her how it felt to self-publish and if she ever thought it would bring her the fame that she has now. I would want to know how nerve racking it was to finally publish her hardcover of Milk and Honey. What’s the writing process like for you? Did you ever think you’d be bringing poetry back into a young crowd? When did you begin to write? All things I would want to know if I ever had the chance. She is truly someone who has helped evolve poetry to me.

    Hello Neivy,
An author I think would be a great person to interview, because they can tell you about the strengths and weaknesses they had getting to the publishing point. The battles an hardship that she had to overcome to get there and the lives she changed in the process. She seems like an intriguing person to interview. Thank you for sharing.

    Hey Neivy,
I think it’s amazing that you would want to interview such an influential person for you. To be honest, i would be pretty nervous to interview someone that was important to me and inspires me. I wouldn’t not want to do it, I would just have to take some time to get myself together before asking any questions. I also agree with the questions you have out to ask if you ever were to interview her. I hope you do get a chance to interview her! Good luck.

    Hi Neivy,
I am very ecstatic at the fact that you are also a Rupi Kaur fan, I am too! I totally agree with everything you say about her writing. I especially like that you mentioned her writing as simple yet so influential. This interview would be absouletly amazing to do, and i think it is very beneficial to get information from a writer herself.

    P.S
I love the book Milk and Honey !!
